Law & Order: Criminal Intent Season 7 - Ratings & Viewer Data
The following data was compiled and graphed by StefanL of Majorcase-ci.com

August 2008 - Law & Order: Criminal Intent Season Seven was split in two, by design and by the writer’s strike.  The ratings for episodes 1-10 (Amends through Senseless) topped out at a staggering 4.57 million viewers with the airing of Untethered on December 5th.  With the return of LOCI in June, an uninterrupted run of twelve episodes and a move to its original NBC night and time - Sundays at 9 pm - Criminal Intent’s season seven, part two closed with an unmatched 5.15 million viewers according to Nielsen’s Media Research numbers for Live+SD. The comparison of USA vs NBC network airings won’t be available until after the September 20th broadcast airing of Frame on NBC.

So, how would USA Network’s airing of Criminal Intent have stacked up against the ratings earned by the Big Four Broadcast Networks ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC?  During most weeks, NBC broadcasts original episodes of Dateline, ABC, CBS and Fox showed repeats of Extreme Home Makeover, Cold Case Files and Family Guy, with occasional changes in programming.  The last three weeks that CI aired in August, NBC raked in ratings gold with the broadcast of the Summer Olympic Games from Beijing.  The numbers visible above the bars in the comparison graph are the number of viewers (in millions) tuning in to Criminal Intent for each week of the second half of season seven.
